Abstract :
“China has been developing rapidly over the last decade as a true hub of innovation – both for China and increasingly for global markets. Steven will discuss findings from a survey which capture the views on the ‘state of China’s innovation’ from business executives – who hold positions in either Chinese companies or MNCs. Steven will combine the conclusions of these findings with his personal experiences of working with several companies in China on innovation issues, to provide his views on how both Chinese companies and MNCs will have to develop their China innovation capabilities over the next decade to build competitively advantaged positions in their industries.”
Steven Veldhoen简介：
Mr. Steven Veldhoen is a Partner with Booz & Company. Steven started his Booz career in Europe and then moved to the United States. He managed the Booz business in Japan and subsequently led the build-out of the Asia business. He continues to co-lead the global practice of Innovation experts at Booz and leads the Global Innovation research pursued jointly with INSEAD. He is a co-author of a number of articles on industry topics published in Strategy +Business. He is very experienced in improving clients’ innovation and product development capabilities and corporate operations capabilities especially for clients in consumer goods and automotive industries.
He holds an MBA from IESE in Barcelona, Spain and a BA from Nijenrode in Breukelen, the Netherland. He can speak fluent Dutch, English and German, and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish and a basic understanding of Japanese and Chinese.
