报告人简介：
Bin Zhang is an assistant professor in the Department of Management Information Systems, Eller College of Management, University of Arizona,and a visiting research fellow at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Hereceived his Ph.D. degree in Information Systems Management from CMU. He also has a Master's degree in Machine Learning, from CMU's School of Computer Science. Bin is an alumnus of Zhejiang University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Dr. Zhang's primary research interests are large social network analysis, statistical modeling for network problems, and social media. His research projects have been funded by the U.S. federal agencies such as NSF and NASA. His works have appeared in premier information systems journals and conferences. Bin also has experience in the Internet industry at companies like Yahoo!, and has designed architectures of online ERP systems in the software industry.
