主 题：An Investigation of Social Networking Site Use: A Three-Pronged Threat Assessment
报告摘要:
Social networking sites (SNS) have proliferated in the last several years. Such proliferation has also been accompanied by increased threats to SNS users. Drawing upon a three-pronged perspective for assessing threats, this study examines SNS users’ perceived risk and its impact on their site use in terms of two antecedents (i.e., perceived cyber-attack exposure and privacy breach concern) and threat sources in SNS context. We theorize that perceived SNS risk affects SNS users’ site use and that its effect is mediated by user attitude. Analysis results of survey data from Facebook users support the research hypotheses while reporting unexpected findings. Follow-up post-hoc analyses further reveal a mediating effect of perceived cyber-attack exposure and interesting gender differences regarding perceived SNS risk phenomenon. Findings of this study contribute to the literature on SNS and also inform practice.

陈睿博士系美国波尔州立大学 (Ball State University;属印第安纳州立大学系统) 米勒商学院信息系统和运营管理系的副教授。他毕业于纽约州立大学布法罗分校体育外围平台APP–信息管理科学和系统博士学位。鉴于其卓越的学术成就，陈教授工作4年就被破格从助理教授升至副教授职称。他获得由纽约州立大学布法罗分校和美国国家安全局合作办学项目所颁发的信息安全高级证书。他也是微软认证的系统工程师和数据库管理员。陈教授在企业管理信息系统 (Management Information Systems) 的研究上拥有着国际知名度。他主要的科研方向包括信息安全和用户行为，紧急事件管理，新兴网络媒体，信息系统效能，以及信息系统外包等。他已经发表了超过60篇学术论文在各大学术期刊，国际会议，以及书籍中。他有超过15篇学术论文发表在管理信息系统专业排名前十的学术期刊上，其中包括全球排名第一的管理信息系统季刊 (MIS Quarterly)以及信息系统期刊 (Information Systems Journal), 决策支持系统期刊 (Decision Support Systems), 国际信息系统协会期刊 (Journal of the Association for Information Systems) , 信息与管理期刊 (Information & Management), 欧洲信息系统期刊 (European Journal of Information Systems) , 电机和电子工程师协会期刊(IEEE Transactions)等。参照国际信息系统协会通讯期刊(Journal of the Association for Information System)发布的本专业教授学术生产力历史数据，陈教授于2010-2014五年内发表在专业9大顶尖学术期刊上的论文总量(10篇)在全球本专业学者中排名进入前20。他致力于对本专业学术领域的贡献，为大量的期刊，会议，和书籍审稿近200篇，频繁为多个顶级期刊和顶尖会议审稿。他也是2个学术期刊的编辑和约15个国际学术会议的委员会成员。他的文章获得过国际学术会议的最佳论文奖和最佳系统奖。陈教授参与的多个学术研究项目得到美国科学基金的资助。他被美国政府移民局认定为杰出教授，因为他对学术研究做出了原创性的科学贡献，在国际知名期刊上发表了大量学术著作，以及为本领域做重要的评审工作。他获得波尔州立大学的杰出青年教授奖和米勒商学院的杰出学术研究奖。他被票选为波尔州立大学的学术委员会主席。
